- Provides support in the Radar technologies and practices for the testing of the NAS large-scale real time system composed of hardware, software, and firmware.
- Assist engineering teams by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth project execution.
- Work under direct supervision and team environment.
- Provide support to field personnel to include remote (e.g., email or phone ) or on-site (i.e., Travel).
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and assist in implementing solutions to enhance productivity.
- Develop and update technical documentation for systems and processes to ensure clarity and accessibility.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support technical needs and align solutions with organizational goals.
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to continually improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Work on reorganizing storage areas to make space available for future parts that will be used in future installations/System Support Modifications.
- Work collaboratively with a team or as an individual on each assigned project to meet deliveries and deliverables.
- Track preparation and delivery status of required deliverables.
- High School Diploma or GED required and One (1) year of related experience.
- Basic knowledge of engineering software and tools, and experience with troubleshooting technical issues.
- Must be available to travel at short notice to provide 2nd level engineering support and/ or to do new installations to support the ASR-9 Sustainment efforts.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach technical problems methodically.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Microsoft Office: Excel, Word etc. and knowledge of personal computer, hardware/software.
- Test equipment knowledge a plus (i.e., Oscilloscope, DMM, or Spectrum Analyzer)
- Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.
- Permanent Residency or US Citizenship required for the FAA Public Trust Clearance. Must have resided in the US for the last 3 years.
