      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage state and federal environmental review and permitting projects
      - Work with multidisciplinary project teams to develop environmental review documents and permit applications
      - Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
      - Support business development activities
      - Travel periodically to fulfill job responsibilities

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, environmental policy, natural resources management, or related field
      - 7–10 years of experience in environmental review and permitting projects
      - Strong communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
      - Knowledge of NEPA and state-equivalent regulations
      - Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Recent experience with environmental permitting for mine sites, preferably in the Midwest
      - Experience managing environmental review and permitting projects at state or federal level
      - Knowledge of regulatory programs like NPDES, wetland permitting, and threatened and endangered species compliance
      - Established relationships with mining clients
      - Ability to process complex information and develop appropriate strategies
