What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee solar site land development activities from design plan preparation through project closeout to ensure environmental compliance
- Evaluate land development plans during design and construction for potential environmental impacts
- Collaborate with site management to ensure compliance with permit documentation and project requirements
- Inspect subcontractors' work progress and address concerns with site management promptly
- Support the site management team with all land development activities and lead environmental compliance needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: BS in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of land development experience or SWPPP and SPCCC inspections
- Knowledge of current environmental laws and regulations, particularly CWA/NPDES standards
- Proficient in reading and interpreting civil engineering plans
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience presenting to and interacting with consultants and subcontractors
- Familiarity with construction job site environments and safety regulations
- Additional certifications related to environmental compliance or project management
