Job Description
- Req#: 90893
- Assist with performing safety kaizen events to improve EHS
- Assist in inventory and review of the site’s permit required confined spaces
- Deliver training built by EHS professional to site BART team to improve their skills
- Assist in the documentation of root cause investigations and assist EHS professional verify completion of action items.
- Assist in the review of site EMS programs
- Assist EHS professional as needed in day to day EHS activities
- Perform routine EHS walks to identify potential EHS concerns and verify that prior CAPA plans are in place and being maintained.
- Prefer some with a background/experience with EHS or focus on engineering, mechanics, or industrial technology.
- Familiar/proficient with Microsoft Office

We offer a unique perspective into the world of food manufacturing with a 12-week paid internship in our Environmental Health and Safety group in Ames, IA. As a key player on the team, the EHS Intern will be exposed to several core competencies within the Safety field.
