Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is a US Federal Government focused Energy Service Company (ESCO) specializing in the delivery of Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) and other contracts for building automation, HVAC and other energy saving and generation projects.
Position Summary:Seeking a motivated intern that is pursuing a degree in the environment, health, and safety domain. The selected candidate will report directly to the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety and will interface with Project Managers, Site Safety and Health Officers, and subcontractor personnel.Responsibilities:•Assist the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety with corporate policy updates and regulatory standards research.•Assist EHS organization and project management staff with document retention requirements (cloud-based document retention, monthly documentation retention audits and identifying areas of improvement).•Assist EHS organization and project management staff with contract specific compliance requirements (Word document creation, reviewing and providing comments/revisions to hazard analyses and task specific plans that are prepared and submitted by the sub-contractor for each Definable Feature of Work, etc.,).•PowerBi KPI dashboard creation and data analysis of leading and lagging indicators.•Create presentations for the organization’s leadership and customers that clearly communicate the organization’s KPIs.
Requirements:•Self-motivated rising junior or above who is pursuing a degree in the environment, health, and safety domain.•Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.•Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.•Proficiency with PowerBi and Procore is a plus.Working hours:•20-30 hours/week (flexible schedule)Security Requirements:•Candidate must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
