      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop State Implementation Plans (SIPs) under the Clean Air Act using accurate air quality data
      - Conduct complex policy analyses to create and write state regulations for air pollution control
      - Draft and coordinate the issuance of environmental regulations
      - Host public meetings, hearings, and presentations to engage with the regulated community and the public
      - Collaborate with various Air Quality Sections to ensure SIPs contain accurate data and compliance methodologies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field (Master's degree can substitute for 2 years, Doctorate for 4 years)
      - Knowledge of State and Federal environmental regulations, including the Clean Air Act
      - Ability to understand and apply environmental rules and statutes effectively
      - Proficient in preparing clear, concise, and accurate reports
      - Strong skills in summarizing tasks and monitoring data both orally and in writing

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Juris Doctor Degree
      - Bachelor's degree or higher in law, environmental/chemical engineering, environmental science, or related field
      - Experience in conducting environmental research and policy analysis
      - Familiarity with statistical analysis and investigation techniques
      - Previous involvement in public engagement or regulatory processes
