What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead preliminary assessments of permitting requirements for proposed projects
- Develop detailed permit matrices of applicable environmental regulations
- Manage and prepare permit applications for federal, state, and local permits
- Coordinate and conduct site investigations and ecological assessments
- Serve as a technical lead for environmental and permitting impact assessments

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Biology, or related field + 6 years of experience
- Valid Driver's License and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Records review
- US Citizenship required
- Proven experience with NJ and federal permitting processes
- Strong communication skills, including technical writing abilities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6+ years of experience completing NJ and federal permits
- Project task management experience with oversight of staff and budget
- Proficiency in permit application preparation and ecological assessments
- Geographic Information System (GIS) knowledge
- Safety training (i.e., OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hours)
