What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Produce visual impact assessments (VIAs) for permit applications
- Coordinate tasks and contributions from a diverse team
- Travel for project site visits as needed
- Provide general planning and permitting support for environmental assessments
- Work directly with project managers and clients to solve problems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3 to 5 years of experience producing or supporting VIAs
- Strong research, analysis, and reporting abilities
- Ability to read and interpret site layouts and maps
- Commitment to high-quality work and team success
- Valid driver's license and ability to perform fieldwork
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience producing VIAs required by environmental review criteria
- Familiarity with federal agencies and their assessment methods
- Training in DSLR cameras, Autodesk 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience in shadow flicker analyses for wind energy projects
