What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage overall project administration, establishing project-specific objectives and policies
- Provide guidance to subordinate managers and serve as the primary liaison between the employer and clients
- Oversee project execution to ensure compliance with design, budget, and schedule
- Administer the project from budgeting through procurement and contract closeout, with significant profit/loss responsibility
- Ensure all project activities align with environmental regulations and standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizenship for access to Department of Defense project sites
- Ability to travel at least 10% of the time
- Must successfully pass pre-employment background check and motor vehicle records check
- Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and ability to meet OSHA medical clearance requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline
- Experience with CERCLA and environmental science principles
- Professional registration and effective oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with State of Hawaii environmental regulations and extensive DOD experience in Hawaii and Guam
- Proven project estimating experience, particularly in environmental projects
