What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage environmental projects from proposal through execution and invoicing across multiple states
- Develop and execute work scopes while maintaining project schedules and budgetary goals
- Provide technical support throughout all phases of environmental assessments and remediation projects
- Mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to health and safety policies
- Prepare and review technical documents for regulatory compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- 10-20 years of experience in project execution and personnel management in the environmental industry
- Strong organizational skills to manage 30+ projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Completion of 40-hour OSHA-HAZWOPER training and annual refreshers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience managing projects for both government and private clients
- Familiarity with geologic environments in Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky
- Additional certifications such as Professional Geologist/Engineer or Licensed Asbestos Inspector
- Experience in indoor air quality and industrial hygiene services
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a team environment
