      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide technical review comments to ensure compliance with federal and state environmental regulations
      - Assist in coordinating with federal and state regulatory agency representatives and facilitate stakeholder meetings
      - Conduct comprehensive environmental reviews of studies, plans, and permits for government approval
      - Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve complex environmental restoration compliance issues
      - Document data and manage records related to projects and programs, including compliance reviews

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental remediation and cleanup projects
      - Experience with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) permits and regulations
      - Familiarity with Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) Contaminated Sites Program
      - Experience performing work on Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) cleanup projects
      - Knowledge of remediation and contaminated site cleanup in the State of Alaska or similar climate

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Professional licenses or certifications in environmental services (e.g., HAZWOPER certification)
      - Additional years of experience beyond the 5-year minimum
      - Environmental Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program
      - Demonstrated experience in developing and reviewing technical packages for environmental services
      - Specialized training related to environmental restoration
