      • Band 5, NHS Agenda for Change, £29,970 - £36,483
      • Location Medway (training period and occasional work from Medway and Crawley but majority of time will be working from home)
      • This is a 12 month secondment (internals)/Fixed term contract (externals)

      Main duties of the job

      The Trust has a responsibility to measure and continuously improve the quality of care that we provide. Our Trust's vision is to be better today and even better tomorrow. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the EOC Audit Team as an EOC Audit Coordinator. The post holder is expected to be an advocate for this vison and to drive the Trust towards it by facilitating rigorous EOC audit and quality improvement projects.

      Job description

      • The post holder will be committed to creating a culture of continuous improvement and will work to improve the effectiveness of processes within the team as well as supporting improvement across the Trust.
      • The post-holder will be responsible for coordinating EOC audit activities and carrying out No-Send and Clinical Tail audits to identify high risk incidents that require further investigation.
      We welcome applications from candidates who have experience of NHS processes, have a good standard of education and adequate experience of using Excel and other IT packages.

      • Knowledge of NHS Structures Knowledge of data analysis and associated software/computer systems acquired through formal education or experience
      • High level of computer literacy

      Desirable

      • Understanding of current government and NHS strategy and policy in respect of clinical governance, clinical effectiveness and audit.

      • Experience in a role involving data collection and analysis
      • Experience of providing routine and ad-hoc information reports
      • Knowledge and experience within the NHS and understanding of NHS systems and data formats.

      • Ability to present information logically and concisely both verbally and in writing, including the ability to write reports with clarity
      • Ability to interpret data from a variety of different sources and present it as clear information. Ability to spot flaws in data base and systems and fix them in a quickly and accurately
