      Job Description Summary

      The EPC Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of utility-scale solar projects, including planning, budgeting, buyout, project controls/reporting, scheduling, and risk management. The role requires providing leadership and technical expertise to ensure project success. This position is based onsite in the Southeast Region.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Manage significant scopes of work in partnership with the superintendent team, including planning, execution, and managing labor crews.
      • Develop and implement safety plans and procedures.
      • Oversee project billing, maximize cash flow, and manage receivables.
      • Negotiate change orders and procurement of subcontractors and materials.
      • Ensure project stays on schedule and within budget, with accurate reporting to management.
      • Train and supervise project team members, fostering professional growth.
      • Ensure contract compliance and document significant project events.
      • Manage preconstruction activities, risk mitigation, and quality control.
      • Develop relationships with stakeholders, coordinate logistics, and lead project meetings.

      Minimum Skills and Experience

      • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture preferred.
      • 5-8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory roles.
      • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
      • Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, and CMiC (a plus).
      • Knowledge of contract law, project accounting, and project management systems.
      • Understanding of utility-scale PV plant construction and interconnection processes.
      • Ability to travel extensively, including remote areas.

      Performance Objectives

      • Accurate proposal scheduling based on project variables.
      • Timely resolution of project claims and impacts.
      • Development of a strong scheduling culture within the team.
