What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, build, test, and activate the Epic application database
- Support new project development through system analysis and planning
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems involving integrated systems
- Document and maintain all required system design and build documentation
- Participate in stakeholder sessions to gather requirements and problem-solve
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Epic Accreditation or Certification in relevant modules
- Two (2) years of experience managing applicable Epic module(s)
- Ability to obtain new Epic certification within six (6) months if currently employed with the employer
- Completion of all required education per organizational and registry requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Four (4) years of work experience in a similar position in healthcare
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience in project development and implementation within healthcare IT
