What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to ensure system design aligns with operational processes
- Conduct data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support
- Participate in application deployment and documentation of procedures
- Ensure software builds meet organizational goals and compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use
- Act as project coordinator for medium-sized projects under supervision
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience, or two years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in lieu of a degree
- Required certifications or licensures, specifically CPhT certification
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in healthcare information technology or application support
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
