Job Description

- The Program Assistant independently performs a variety of secretarial and/or administrative duties; to apply written and unwritten policies to perform varying task that have significant impact on the operation of the office; to use knowledge of program and general office procedures to make independent decisions concerning processing of information and materials and establish procedures to assist supervisory personnel.
- Completes and sends out Central Registry notices to providers for Center, GCCH, Faith Based and LFCCH. Documents in system.
- Assists with answering the main childcare licensing telephone line; route to appropriate caller, transfer to regional offices if necessary; makes calls to providers as necessary.
- Processes Central registry for FFN or Exempt facilities, ABC, or quality CRC and contacting out of State agencies and/or providers as well as assists with bulk mail outs to providers; assembles packets as necessary.
- Perform Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.

Job Duties:
A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
