Job Description
- Req#: 16224
- Project management and delivery of the global ESG reporting in both online and offline channels
- Integrated reporting and governance responsibility to drive increased coherence between financial and non-financial corporate reporting
- Responsibility for the annual Double Materiality Assessment, as prescribed by the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive
- Gather, create, and communicate local and global sustainability stories. Support PR activation and media outreach
- Engagement of market companies & functions to support the rollout of global sustainability strategy in select areas
- Sustainability insights gathering on upcoming standards and stakeholder trends that pose a risk or an opportunity to the business.
- Gatekeeper for ESG framing in all Group ESG communication to avoid greenwashing risks and ensure we live up to legislation (green claims)
- Facilitate cross-functional projects within the wider Corporate Affairs agenda, to maximise impact on stakeholders and society
- Relevant master’s/MBA degree
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience working with sustainability implementation and reporting
- Experience in sustainability reporting
- Advanced project management skills - organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Sound business understanding and experience in providing solutions that meet strategic and operational business needs
- Advanced skills in written and spoken English

As part of the Corporate Affairs function, you will help to implement and build engagement around our sustainability programme Together Towards ZERO & Beyond. You will work closely with colleagues working with internal communication, public affairs, investor relations and external communication while engaging with colleagues from all over the world to represent our local actions on a global level. The workplace is truly international with many different nationalities and cultures represented.
What you’ll be doingCarlsberg Group is seeking an experienced full-time ESG reporting and communications manager, who will report to the Senior Director, Group Sustainability & ESG. Located at the Carlsberg Group central office in Copenhagen, Denmark, you will be responsible for ESG reporting & communication. Your contribution will be important to the step-change of our ESG communication efforts, and the adherence to stakeholder expectations on ESG, including the CSRD reporting requirements. Your contribution will furthermore be key in ensuring consistent and engaging communication on our corporate channels, and assist our markets in ensuring a factual and data-driven approach to sustainability-related communication.
You will have great freedom in creating, developing, and delivering creative concepts for getting sustainability closer to our consumers, customers, and other stakeholders. We are enthusiastic about sustainability and beer, and we expect that you too will play an important role in making our purpose ‘brewing for a better today and tomorrow’ come alive.
