What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and analyze design/construction schedules and cost estimates during project phases
- Develop accurate project cost estimates and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors on adjustments to cost estimates
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of project budgets and cost forecasts
- Analyze documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid OSHA 30 certification
- Valid CPR certification
- Four years' experience in developing cost estimation methods for civil and structural projects
- Competence in using Primavera P6 and RS Means Software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Six years of experience in construction scheduling and/or estimating for utilities and facilities projects
