- GENERAL SUMMARY

This is a paid seasonal part-time position from June through the end of August, 2025. This position will work in the Community Relations and Development Office at New London Hospital.
Tentative hours may consist of: 10-15 hours per week. With the potential increase to 20-25 hours during event weeks.

- FUNCTIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- In collaboration with the Development Program Coordinator, help with logistics of events including but not limited to: Hospital Days and Annual Benefit.
- Assist with event coordination including pre-event promotion, preparation, outreach, implementation and post-event activities.
- Attend events and help with on-site execution and event management, inclusive of evenings and weekends.
- Assist with marketing to include social media, advertising and brand alignment.
- Maintain inventory for all event and promotional supplies.
- Assist with administrative duties including filing, data entry, scanning and photocopying.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.

- POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

- Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
- The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times.
- Evenings and weekends required on event dates.
