- Welcome, greet, and assist all clients throughout events.
- Attend periodic trainings to stay up to date on GFS exhibitions, policies, and offerings.
- Work collaboratively with the Manager of Events and Guest Services team to ensure guest satisfaction, as well as the safety of guests, artwork, and buildings.
- Serve as an ambassador for Grounds For Sculpture, fostering a culture of inclusion for all members, donors, volunteers, and guests.
- Follow established procedures for reporting incidents, accidents, and artwork safety concerns.
- Assist the Manager of Events with setup, audiovisual equipment, and ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Operate golf carts and trams as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma.
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule; willingness to work in various temperatures.
- Commitment to inclusivity, respect, and embracing differences in the workplace.
- Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Spanish fluency encouraged.
- Basic computer knowledge.

Grounds For Sculpture is seeking part-time, seasonal (average of 10-18 hours per week) Event Assistants to join our team. The Event Assistant reports directly to the Manager of Events and is responsible for delivering extraordinary customer service during events at Grounds For Sculpture.
