What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure the needs of each Special Events Guest are met, and communicate all requests to update contracts accordingly
- Convert requests for proposals (RFPs) and calls for social events into confirmed bookings
- Conduct site tours as needed to showcase event spaces
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, including follow-ups with Event Hosts after sales are finalized
- Ensure Operations has the most up-to-date Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for each event
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests, the Sales Team, and Management Team
- Strong organization and verbal skills
- Capacity to analyze basic data to assist Operations and the Sales Team in decision-making
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English
- Friendly demeanor with a proactive "You Got It" attitude
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in event planning or coordination
- Familiarity with administrative support tasks in a sales environment
- Ability to identify upselling opportunities during the sales process
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently
- Willingness to assist team members and contribute to a positive work culture
