What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure the needs of each Special Events Guest are met by communicating all requests to the Operations team
- Convert requests for proposals (RFPs) and calls for social events into closed business
- Conduct site tours as needed and ensure prompt distribution of paperwork for events
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, including follow-ups on calls, emails, and tasks
- Offer upsell opportunities to Event Hosts after the sale is closed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to analyze basic data to assist in decision-making
- Proficient in reading and communicating in English
- Friendly demeanor with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in a hospitality or event coordination role is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in sales or customer service within the hospitality industry
- Familiarity with event planning software or tools
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of upselling techniques and strategies
- Strong decision-making skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities
