  AmeriHome is seeking an EVP, Capital Markets to lead its Capital Markets Trading team. This is a challenging and dynamic role requiring strong leadership skills, complex problem-solving skills, deep knowledge of Capital Markets, and experience in Secondary Marketing trading and pricing. The ideal candidate will have previously demonstrated the ability to succeed in a fast-paced trading environment, demonstrated experience in a leadership role, strong critical thinking skills, a strong academic background, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.   What we are looking for:

  In office role, located in Westlake Village, CA
  

  • Oversee the pricing, hedging, and trading activities of the mortgage pipeline
  • Develop whole loan and securitization trading strategies
  • Oversee best-execution analysis for the pooling and trading of agency and non-agency loans
  • Oversee competitive analysis and recommend pricing strategies
  • Interact with critical external partners such as primary dealers, investors, and GSEs
  • Coordinate with internal constituencies such as contract finance, risk/credit, sales, and operations
  • Develop and maintain tools for quantitative analysis, trading, and loan securitization

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, mathematics, or related field (CFA or MBA preferred)
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience with SQL and VBA preferred
  • Deep knowledge of Capital Markets and Secondary Marketing
  • Strong analytical, math, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $284,000.00 - $351,000.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
