      Job Summary:

      Responsible for providing friendly, courteous service to guests every time while cleaning in their assigned area. The Casino Porter fulfills all deep cleaning, and scrubbing assigned areas. Porters can be expected to perform tasks ranging from disposal of trash, restroom, restaurant, retail outlets, casino, showrooms, window cleaning and other tasks assigned. Also, must display a strong commitment to Customer service through the delivery and maintenance of our Service Standards, Safety & Accident Procedures and Standard Operating Procedure

      Essential Functions:

      • Able to push and pull up to 150 pounds.
      • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
      • Must be able to maneuver in hotel tower, up and down stairs, and reach above shoulder level.
      • Able to push, pull, and carry up to 100 pounds.
      • Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
      • Must be able to work in temperatures in excess of 115 degrees and in cold temperatures as low as 40 degrees.
      • Respond to visual and aural cues.
      • Must be able to work around crowded areas.
      • Able to read labels on chemical bottles.
      • Able to stoop, bend, reach, and pull around hotel and restroom areas.
      • Able to use finger movement and rotation wrist motion when cleaning and wiping surface areas.
      • Able to communicate in conversational English.
      • Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction

      Qualifications:

      • Six months previous EVS porter experience preferred.
      • Must be able to get along well with coworkers and work as a team.
      • Must be able to communicate in conversational English.
      • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
