What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, solicit, underwrite, and sell new and renewal Specialty accounts that drive profitable growth
- Manage assigned portfolio to achieve premium, profitability, retention, and new business goals
- Utilize underwriting tools and strategies to ensure guidelines are followed
- Build and maintain relationships with agents to enhance trust and facilitate negotiations
- Prepare and analyze underwriting decisions and financial performance measures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Generally, 3-7+ years of Specialty or standard commercial lines experience
- 3-4+ years’ experience driving agency relationships resulting in profitable new and renewal business
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external partners
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and solve problems efficiently

- Proven track record of successful sales and relationship management
- Familiarity with underwriting concepts and risk management strategies
