- Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and coordinating travel.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Draft, edit, and format reports, memos, and presentations on behalf of the Executive Director.
- Track and follow up on action items, strategic priorities, and key initiatives.
- Support internal leadership meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison to the Board of Directors.
- Coordinate all aspects of board and committee meetings, including scheduling, preparing meeting materials, compiling and distributing board packets, and recording meeting minutes.
- Maintain governance documents and records in compliance with corporate and legal standards.
- Support the onboarding and orientation of new board members.
- Monitor and ensure timely filing of all governance-related documents and assist in preparing for audits, accreditations, or regulatory reviews.
- Assist in the coordination of leadership retreats, community events, and stakeholder engagements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for executive and board records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support special projects or organizational initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of executive administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare, nonprofit, or senior living environment.
- Strong understanding of board governance practices and regulatory compliance in California (RCFE/Title 22 knowledge preferred).
- Previous experience with BoardEffect is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Zoom; experience with board management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a desk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop and kneel.
- Ability to lift, carry and push/pull up to 50 lbs.

The Role
The Executive Assistant serves as the primary administrative partner to the Executive Director and acts as the governance liaison to the Board of Directors. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and professional operation of executive-level functions and board-related activities. The Executive Assistant manages complex scheduling, supports strategic initiatives, facilitates communication across departments and with external partners, and coordinates board governance operations in alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:
Enso Village is committed to equal pay and transparency. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. This range provided as a general guideline and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors, including candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, external non-profit market data, and business considerations.
