What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Department Chair and faculty members, managing calendars and scheduling appointments
- Coordinate and process travel arrangements for faculty, staff, and official guests
- Implement and oversee departmental projects, meetings, and events to meet goals and deadlines
- Maintain departmental financial records, monitor expenditures, and prepare reports using Workday
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the department, welcoming visitors and facilitating communications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of administrative or related experience, or
- High School diploma/GED plus six (6) years of administrative or related experience
- At least one (1) year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of Workday
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience providing high-level administrative support in an academic/research/clinical environment, including two (2) years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Advanced knowledge of Workday systems and processes
