What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Director of the Translational Research Institute (TRI) and TRI leadership
- Manage the Director's calendar, travel arrangements, presentations, and correspondence
- Develop faculty biosketches, graphics, tables, and figures, and assist with editing and formatting for federal grant submissions
- Coordinate special projects and events for the Director and TRI leadership
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills while managing multiple tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field plus 4 years of administrative support experience, preferably at the executive level, OR a high school diploma/GED plus 8 years of administrative support experience, preferably at the executive level
- Proven experience in executive-level administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel) and videoconferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, WebEx)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare or medical research environment
- Strong skills in project management and event coordination
- Familiarity with federal grant submission processes
