- Coordinates activities and ensures timely information flow for EMG members supported.
- Prioritizes and coordinates work for EMG members to meet deadlines on multiple tasks.
- Prepares and updates presentations, reports, and spreadsheets for EMG members and assigned area.
- Reviews data content and presentation method for accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Manages EMG members’ schedule and provides administrative support to assigned EMG which may include managing emails, maintaining calendar(s) and ensuring appropriate record retention.
- Routes department calls and e-mail to appropriate staff members.
- Composes e-mails, letters, and memorandums.
- Maintains filing system for key documents. Prepares correspondence and reports for EMG supported.
- Ensures data to and from EMG members are treated with appropriate level of confidentiality.
- Maintains travel and expense reporting.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- 4 years’ directly related work experience supporting executives in an administrative capacity.
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, data retrieval, and word processing and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated experience with calendar management and/or prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively build strong relationships and work with all levels within the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail needed.
- Experience working in a team environment, providing relationship building, collaboration and strength as a teammate.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point) to include project coordination skills.
- Knowledge with USAA's travel system and Concur.
- Solid organizational skills, to include experience with coordinating and preparing staff agendas, prioritizing tasks, event planning and communicating information both written and oral.
- US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.

As a dedicated Executive Assistant, you will perform administrative support for members of the Management Executive Management Group (EMG) team. Ensures day-today activities are coordinated and EMG members are prepared with required information. This individual will handle sensitive information, coordinate meetings, triage new requests, book EMG travel, coordinate expense submissions, and collaborate with other Administrative Assistants across the organization.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position will be based in the following location: San Antonio, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $61,110 - $116.800.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
