- Detail-oriented: excel at proofreading, following through, and task completion.
- Systems Expert: skilled in creating, improving, and utilizing organizational systems.
- Tech-Savvy: proficient with Office 365 for Mac, Google Suite, Zoom, Asana, Hubspot, Airtable, Canva, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, and Adobe PDF Pro, with quick learning ability for new software.
- Experienced: at least 3 years in an administrative or support role, preferably in a nonprofit.
- Strong Communicator: excellent written and verbal skills in English, adept at correspondence and presentations.
- Relationship Builder: capable of fostering relationships internally and externally.
- Confidential & Adaptable: maintains confidentiality, exercises sound judgment, and navigates ambiguity with creative solutions.
- Proactive Multi-Tasker: manages multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage calendar, correspondence, meetings, travel, and event planning.
- Assist with VIP relationships, including drafting communications and updating contacts.
- Conduct research, create presentations, talking points, and communication tools.
- Ensure efficient functioning of the ED's office technology.
- Organize meetings, coordinate logistics, materials, and follow-up.
- Support special projects, learning sessions, and team-building activities.
- Enter gifts, track touchpoints, and update donor information.
- Gather data, prepare research summaries, prospect lists, and meeting briefs.
- Draft and send donor communications.
- Support development projects, events, mailings, and appeals.
- Maintain office operations in San Francisco, including mail, supplies, and premises management.
- Maintain contact databases, track event attendance, and generate reports.
- Implement strategic plans and promote organizational values around justice, equity, and environmental impact.
- Engage in continuous learning through events, resources, and professional development.
- Work legally in the U.S. and maintain proper work authorization.
- Reside in the California Bay Area.
- Have previous experience as an executive assistant or similar role.
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision and focus adjustment.
- Extended periods at a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs for event support.
- Occasional evening and weekend work.
- Ability to pass a background check.

About the Position
As the Executive Assistant, you will support the Executive Director's daily activities, ensuring focus on strategic priorities while maintaining connections with donors, board members, filmmakers, staff, and stakeholders. You will also provide administrative support to the development team, assisting with outreach, events, meetings, and relationship management. Your proactive and collaborative approach will help track priorities, manage multiple assignments, and represent The Redford Center's mission, vision, and values efficiently.
Schedule :
Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm (occasional evenings and weekends)
Location :
Hybrid (Minimum 2 days in our office in Presidio, San Francisco, CA)

The pay range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000 USD per year in San Francisco.
