      The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Division

      · AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs on the hospital campus currently include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.
      · AdventHealth Tampa is home to the renowned AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a recognized leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and leading-edge research – caring for Tampa Bay’s hearts for over 35 years.

Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads the way in clinical and academic research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery and more – contributing valuable knowledge that leads to tomorrow’s cures for conditions such as heart failure, cancer and other diseases.”

      The rol e you’ll contribute:

      The Executive Assistant position is responsible for fully supporting assigned Vice President(s) within the department. This position is responsible for complete management of the executive’s calendars, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, coordinating all arrangements for meetings, conferences, and travel. Prepares routine and non-routine reports and presentations, including gathering and summarizing data. Establishes and maintains highly confidential files and records. Composes letters and correspondence. Answers phones , delivers outstanding customer service, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. May provide project management, assistance with budget planning and tracking, statistical reporting, or other data tasks as required by the department.

      The valu e you’ll bring to the team:

      · Answers, evaluates, and appropriately responds to phone calls, visits, and other inquiries
      · Coordinates and maintains the Executive’s calendar for meetings and appointments to provide optimal utilization of the executive’s time
      · Maintains all communications for the Executive and department including written correspondence and telephone contacts
      · Drafts documents as appropriate
      · Maintains the department invoice process including receiving, validating, filing and processing invoices for payment
      · May assist with trouble shooting on invoices and helps prepare monthly expense reports.

      Th e expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

      · High School Grad or Equiv Required
      · Bachelor's Required
      · 4+ years experience
      · 5+ years related experience
