      Role Summary/Purpose

      The Executive Counsel, Global Investigations will be a key member of a team lead ing government, regulatory and significant internal investigations for GE Vernova. The person will serve as a proactive advisor to the various GE Vernova businesses and recommend risk mitigation. The role will be part of the new GE Vernova Global Law & Policy Headquarters team and work closely with functional and business colleagues. This role will report to the Chief Counsel , Global Investigations for GE Vernova.

      Essential Responsibilities

      • Leading and m anaging governmental / regulatory investigations and internal investigations globally that could raise legal or reputational risk for GE Vernova and/or its businesses

      • Representing GE in front of enforcement agencies, in public policy discussions relating to enforcement priorities, and at external conferences

      • A bility to plan and conduct complex investigations across different legal risk areas

      • Driving measurable efficiencies in investigative matter management, including with regard to budgets for external counsel and forensic/discovery-related needs

      • Developing sustainable investigative capabilities and processes for GE Vernova’s investigative needs, including through training and talent development

      • Providing cross-functional support to the compliance function to ( i ) identify emerging issues and trends, (ii) help define process improvements and (iii) help with training initiatives

      Qualifications / Requirements

      • J.D. or equivalent law degree from a recognized international institution

      • 7-10 years US DOJ federal prosecutorial experience

      • Significant i nvestigative experience in a common law and/or civil law jurisdiction and exposure to working in diverse, complex markets

      • Demonstrated ability to manage complex investigations carrying governmental enforcement risk

      • Experience in/ s trong working knowledge of the US Foreign Corruption Practices Act (FCPA) and other anti-corruption laws in the United States and internationally

      • Investigative experience in one or more of the following additional areas:

      • Trade control s /sanctioned country law

      • Anti-trust law

      • Anti-money laundering law

      • Intellectual property theft / economic espionage / computer crimes

      • Complex frauds

      Desired Characteristics

      • Demonstrated ability to analyze facts and data and draw reasonable conclusions, communicate clearly, possess excellent writing skills and as a strong team player be able to work effectively with others at various levels of the organization

      • As the position requires working across various functions within GE Vernova (e.g., Legal & Compliance, Security, HR, Finance), demonstrated networking and influencing skills

      • Flexible and collaborative team player who is passionate about GE Vernova’s mission

      • High level of cultural sensitivity, flexibility and emotional intelligence in order to work effectively within GE Vernova ’s multicultural environment

      • Ability to work independently in an evolving, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of work

      • Experience in and understanding of the energy / power generation sector and products

      • 2 nd language skill (Mandarin, Arabic, French, or Spanish) preferred

      If contracted in the US:

      The salary range for this position is 170.000,00 to 350.000,00 USD . The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 35% target bonus.
