      Position Summary:


      We are looking for an Executive Director to lead business transformation within our Technology Enabled Services (TES) organization, reporting into our Senior Vice President of TES. The Business Process Transformation leader will partner with key executive team members to define and drive critical transformation initiatives. We seek a leader who is passionate about impact, value-creation, and brings the strategic and tactical skills to deliver change. It is essential that this leader also brings vision, leadership skills, and the ability to collaboratively influence teams and organizations at all levels.


      Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):

      • Overall leadership of the transformation working with executive initiative owners to ensure initiatives remain on track: proactively identifying all obstacles and risks, supporting initiative owners to overcome challenges, and ensuring initiatives are resourced appropriately in collaboration with leadership.

      • Project management of the entire change program including leading the transformation office team

      • Quantifying value of initiatives and ensuring initiatives will deliver the expected value

      • Drive divisional goal planning and provide regular reporting to the SVP and executive team on overall status of program

      • Identify new opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency of the TES team

      • Provide ad-hoc support on projects small to large – identify gaps and step in where help is most needed

      • Foster employee satisfaction, career growth, and connection to the athena culture and mission

      • Interim roles as needed

      Education & Experience Required:

      • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, Master’s degree/MBA preferred

      • Consulting experience preferred

      • Experience in using data and analytics to identify opportunities and drive process automation improvements

      • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others to achieve desired results

      • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills

      • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

      • Healthcare experience highly desirable

      • Ability to travel 10-25% nationwide, potential for international travel

      Knowledge & Skills:

      • Comfort working and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

      • Excellent communication skills and effective networking with a broad base of internal and external constituents

      • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve desired results

      • Creatively challenges the status quo to find new ways of working; looks for the opportunities that arise during times of change; readily adapts to new technologies, processes, roles

      • Thoroughness in tracking numerous, detail intensive tasks while ensuring their completion and accuracy
