      PRIMARY PURPOSE:

      The Executive Director of Cyber Defense key role is to design, maintain, and update the necessary cybersecurity processes and procedures that support a wide variety of business production and product development operations across the MGMRI organization. The incumbent will act as primary cybersecurity resource to multiple organization groups within the company. Reporting to CISO, the ED of Cyber Defense will lead cyber security incident response action and prepare reports chronicling the operational health and status of Cyber Defense operations with a focus on the core tenants of prevent, detect, and respond. Additionally, the ED of Cyber Defense will lead a robust vulnerability management program and lead engineering operations to maintain security engineering functionalities.

      • Design and implement cyber security processes and procedures to protect MGMRI.
      • Conduct advanced computer and network investigation functions relating to various forms of electronic fraud, identity theft, e commerce fraud, computer intrusion, theft of information, denial of service, multinational organized electronic criminal groups, as well as financial fraud investigations.
      • Manage Cyber Defense operations across Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management and
      • Application Security, Incident Response, Log Management, legal support, and insider threat support.
      • Maintain an intimate knowledge of current and emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
      • Oversee prioritization of analysis based on risks associated with each threat and working with the appropriate teams internally to ensure related communications are in line with company best practice and recommendations.
      • Act as the primary cyber security subject matter expert and provide advice when needed.
      • Oversee after action analyses to determine cause and possible mitigation measure for security events. Notification of internal and/or external teams according to agreed alert priorities and escalation trees.
      • Lead a diverse multi-faceted team and manage operational cyber security functions day to day.

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

      • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
      • 10+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience

      Preferred:

      • Proven experience in selecting, designing and implementing complex enterprise-wide security solutions.
      • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
      • Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
      • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
