What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage high-level administrative functions on behalf of the Office of the General Counsel, including file preparation and closure
- Oversee the calendar for the General Counsel and Chief Governance Officer, screening appointment requests
- Coordinate special projects as assigned by the General Counsel
- Maintain a detailed tracking system of initiatives and projects, generating statistical reports as needed
- Attend agency meetings with the General Counsel and coordinate related activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license if required to drive for State business
- Ability to successfully pass background and reference checks
- Exceptional professional communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Suite
- Knowledge of DES programs, legislative processes, and agency rules and regulations

- Prior experience supporting a C-Suite executive or managing partner of a law firm
