- Maintain a pipeline of security technology innovation and experiments, partnering with our emerging technology team and our external partners and start-ups, across cyber, identity, fraud and protective security domains.
- Oversee the provision of security technology innovation initiatives, from concept to pilots, to test new ideas and technologies in a structured and methodical approach to innovation.
- Keep abreast of security technology industry trends maintaining a multi-year horizon view for emerging and be prepared to adjust our priorities.
- Contributing to the Group Security strategy and annual operating plan and shaping our key objectives and results.
- Work with the security leadership team to respond flexibly to various stakeholders and sponsors and to manage changing circumstances, sustainably arranging resources and budgets through transparent prioritisation and effective risk management.
- Lead innovation activities through to implementation across Group Security working with the security leadership team to manage a pipeline of innovation.
- Design and oversight of key resource allocation processes including budgeting, investments and operational efficiency
- Work collaboratively with key senior stakeholders across the Group to ensure the delivery of key milestones within scope and timelines.
- Contribute and translates the group security strategy into practical terms for others and creates a shared understanding to deliver and drive innovation.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering technology innovation to solve real-world problems, from concept to pilot.
- Demonstrated financial services experience in banking and security teams.
- Exposure in security domains of cyber, fraud, identity or protective security is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in working with technology partners and start-ups.
- Demonstrate high levels of curiosity, openness to new ideas and adaptability to changing circumstances
- Demonstrable track record in helping solve business problems with technology and deliver on commitments
- Simultaneous ability to deliver on committed priorities while managing evolving needs of stakeholders
- Experience in leading teams both direct reports and bring together cross-functional teams, operating in an agile delivery model.
