      In the role of Executive Medical Assistant II, under the direction of the Executive Health Program leadership, you will facilitate an efficient Executive Physical day for program participants, support practitioners, maintain excellent quality patient care and excellent customer service.

      Primary Functions

      • Conduct pre-visit activities as needed, including working in EPIC, cross-checking exam-day for accuracy, obtaining records, discussing concerns with physician, requesting on-site appointments when needed, and communicating with other clinics or patient.
      • Schedule clinic appointments and ancillary tests, maintaining patient privacy.
      • Greet and register clinic patients.
      • Accompany patient to appointments during day of visit with a hospitality focus
      • Perform rooming processes including vitals, entering medical history or update existing history, updating immunizations, obtain electronic medical records, support MyChart enrollment.
      • Perform patient care duties such as assist MD with exam needs, provide specimen containers to patient, ear irrigation, administer vaccines, setup for pelvic exams.
      • Set up virtual visit for patient > dietician via iPad, and MD virtual visits.
      • Support Exercise physiologist fitness assessment > patient
      • Supply patients with materials for their day, obtain and provide their meals.
      • Accompany patient to Pharmacy, ID, or GIM clinic for injectables
      • Conduct Post-visit tasks such as communication via MyChart, arranging tests and procedures, imaging pre-authorizations, placing orders for referrals, or future labs.
      • Support EHP Lead and assist as needed.
      • Manage inventory of office, clinical, breakfast, and patient supplies.
      • Manage MyChart inbox.
      • Manage patient refills, pre-authorizations, and care-coordination tasks.
      • Communicate with physician patient concerns and relevant insight.
      • Perform add-on activities as needed.
      • Ability to travel to different locations is not required.

      Knowledge – Skills – Abilities

      Knowledge of biology, clinical judgment, medicine, cultural awareness, and consulting. Medical documentation, interpersonal, practice-based learning and improvement, empathy, and decision-making skills.
