      JOB DESCRIPTION
      Job Title : Analyst - eCommerce
      Reporting To : Manger - eCommerce
      Location : Chennai


      Key Responsibilities:-
      Reporting to eCommerce Functional Manager, the analyst acts and support for Head-Office (HO). The analyst
      contributes to CMA CGM eCommerce product support and enhancement on world-wide services, on all eCommerce
      products (Schedules, Booking, Documentation, Invoices…) and on all eCommerce Channel (web and EDI).
      • On the scope defined by Head Office in Marseille, the analyst complements achieving the eBusiness Website
      Road-Map by:
      o Preparing business requirement documents on new products and evolutions: proposing application
      system changes, compatibility, enhancements, developments and liaising with eCommerce Regional
      Offices/Internal user/Customers/ IT Teams.
      o Perform User acceptance test for new or enhanced eCommerce products as per CMA CGM standard
      • The analyst delivers functional support to existing eBusiness users (internal and external):
      o investigating and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries
      o Identifying the gaps and qualifying system bugs and to coordinate with HO/CMA CGM IT/ Service
      Providers for a solution/fix.
      o Monitor progress of technical issues raised and ensure users and other stake holders are informed on
      the solutions.
      • The analyst delivers professional services with our VIP customers by helping them to build Direct EDI connections
      with us on various products we offer.
      o Analysing and qualifying customer requests
      o Coordinating development with HO and IT team
      o Performing with customers the functional tests
      o Organizing production roll-out
      o Supporting customer queries related with logical EDI flow
      • The analyst will put all his effort to customer satisfaction and data-quality improvements.


      Key performance standards
      • Customer and Agent Ticket resolutions aligned with Group standard
      • Qualitative analysis and preparation of Business requirement documents
      • Realisation of User Acceptance Tests
      • Meeting deadlines as assigned by Head Office.
      • Timely reporting on all activities
      • HO standard


      Requirements and specific skills
      • Experience of supporting websites, recording and assisting application support issues from customers, prioritising
      requests, proposing and communicating timely solutions to HO/IT.
      • Basic understanding of web programming, EDI solutions and development methodologies
      • Basic knowledge on SQL databases
      • Customer focus - understanding the needs of the internal or external customers when initiating actions or making
      decisions.
      • Strong time management, responsibility and project management skills
      • Experience in shipping Industry will be considered as an added value
      • Excellent written and verbal communication & reporting skills
      • Fluent English is mandatory, basic French will be considered as an added value.
