What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails from new and existing guests
- Provide product knowledge and exceptional guest service related to bookings, payment needs, and voyage changes
- Maintain and update customer records using the Salesforce CRM tool
- Collaborate with internal partners, such as marketing and sales, to assist in converting bookings
- Navigate and deescalate challenging scenarios effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a contact center or hospitality industry
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of geography and competence with basic computer applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales-focused role
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Strong understanding of expedition travel and related products
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Passion for travel and environmental conservation
