What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Ensure compliant claims to third-party payers
- Resolve problem accounts from payer denials and follow up on claims requiring a payer response
- Bill and collect payments for hospitals, clinics, and physicians within the Henry Ford Health System
- Adhere to established policies and procedures for accounts receivable management

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in an office environment or healthcare-related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a healthcare revenue cycle position
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with CPT/HCPCS revenue codes
- College coursework in accounting, business, or healthcare administration
