  Job Description:

  For Satair’s office near Copenhagen Airport, we are looking for a new colleague to join our global Export Control & Customs department as an Export Control & Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Specialist.

  We are working with National, European and US export control and customs laws as well as Airbus directives to ensure that our export business is compliant and in line with regulations.

  About the position

  With reference to the Head of Export Control & Customs and in cooperation with your peers in our global export control team and the business functions you will be supporting the business to ensure compliant and timely delivery to our customers.

  Your primary tasks will include

  • Analyse, validate and complete compliance data and files in SAP systems and Compliance tools

  • Analyse and validate Customer End Use Statements

  • Analyse and approve Customers for Export Control and KYC compliance and RISK evaluation

  • Compile Master Data

  • Compile reports from Satair’s SAP system

  • Maintain track records

  • Upload records to SAP systems and Compliance tools

  Other responsibilities can include working with the business to ensure high export control & customs standards and awareness training as well as the development of business processes. Your responsibility may include the analysis of orders and deliveries to proactively guide the business about best practice and optimization of order flows, and your role may also include audit support, reporting to HO function and customs compliance responsibilities.

  Preferred (not mandatory) skills and qualifications

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written (mandatory)

  • Knowledge of US and EU export control laws

  • Knowledge of National export control and customs laws

  • Experience in Compliance screening of customers

  • Familiar with operations and customer support

  • Familiar with Google Mail, Google Drive, Google Sheets and similar applications

  • Analytical and detail oriented

  • Well structured

  As a person, you are able to work independently in an efficient and structured manner. You are comfortable operating in unstructured work situations and enjoy the challenge of changing working processes to set things right. You also see the benefits of being part of a team and you are open to input from others. You have a good eye for details.
