      Position Description:

      The Facilities Construction Manager is responsible for managing all phases of facilities construction projects, including new builds, remodels, and decommissions. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining compliance with building codes and internal standards. The position requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including engineers, architects, contractors, and local officials.


      Key Responsibilities

      • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules; monitor progress to meet deadlines.
      • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and local officials to ensure quality and compliance.
      • Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets; track expenses to maintain financial control.
      • Inspect work for adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and internal standards.
      • Maintain accurate asset listings and update design standards documentation.
      • Respond effectively to delays, emergencies, and disruptions to minimize impact on timeline

      • Communicates Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
      • Ensures Accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.


      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree
      • 5 years of related experience preferred
