      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee facility design and construction services for various County departments
      - Develop project master plans and manage implementation through reviews and cost estimates
      - Ensure compliance of professional consultants with project requirements and specifications
      - Establish project priorities and timelines for timely completion of construction projects
      - Represent the County in community meetings and maintain knowledge of architectural and engineering practices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
      - Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in architectural or engineering planning, design, or construction
      - One (1) year of lead, management, or project management experience
      - Licensed as a Registered Architect (R.A.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas
      - Valid Texas Driver's License

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in managing large-scale facility improvement projects
      - Familiarity with project management software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools
      - Previous supervisory experience in a construction or facilities management environment
      - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences
      - Commitment to professional growth through continuing education
