What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the planning, design, and construction phases for hotel renovation cycles and large CAPEX projects
- Oversee project scope, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Manage the scheduling, coordination, and performance of vendors and consultants throughout project execution
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, as well as corporate safety requirements
- Manage project closeout procedures, including final inspections and financial reconciliation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college/university in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- At least three (3) years of experience in commercial hotel construction as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager
- Direct experience in hotel construction is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and construction project management tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership
