  Summary: The facility maintenance person is an entry level position team member classified based on individual theatre needs, and/or employee availability, as either variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular or a full-time hourly employee who is responsible for cleaning of all public areas of the theatre including pickup, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal from auditoriums, hallways and lobby common areas, detailing of seating (cushions, cup holders, backs, pans, headrests), fixtures (railings, banisters, doors, etc.), cleaning and sanitizing the restrooms and equipment including restocking of company-provided paper supplies. These duties would be completed while the cinema is closed, either late nights or early mornings. Represent and act as a representative of Regal in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by Theatre Management & your Superior (Facility Maintenace Lead)

  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Ensuring all cinema auditoriums are thoroughly cleaned (trash and debris picked up, seats and fixtures cleaned, floors vacuumed, swept and mopped, trash emptied) and auditoriums reset to a high standard of cleanliness for the next day’s business.
  • Cleaning the cinema lobby and hallways including trash pickup, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning fixtures (water fountains, poster cases, etc.)
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms including cleaning restroom fixtures and equipment, countertops, walls, sweeping and mopping floors and restocking paper supplies.
  • Have knowledge to arm, disarm and general operation of the alarm system.
  • Be aware of all safety and emergency procedures.

  Education/Experience:

  Prior maintenance experience preferred. Certified as a cast member. Ability to work independently.

  Language Ability:

  Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems. Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, reach conclusions based on evidence, and implement solutions.
