      The Faculty Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for planning, delivering, evaluating, and assessing training programs and/or other major projects that contribute significantly to faculty development, renewal and improvement.

      1. Implements faculty development activities including workshops, trainin gs, or other development events , including Academic Affairs Celebration of Learning .

      2. Acts as liaison between LMS external vendor and ICC to calendar and deploy ICC training.

      3. Develops customized training for software used by ICC stakeholders ( i.e. test proctoring software, plagiarism detection software).

      4. Assist in development of annual calendar of faculty development activities.

      5. Develop strategies for attracting and engaging faculty in development activities that meet their unique needs.

      6. Assists with the development and implementation of event evaluations and assessments.

      7. Maintain and facilitate communication channels related to faculty professional development including telephone, email, answer faculty and staff questions, and develop internal promotional items for faculty professional development opportunities.

      8.Updates Teaching and Learning Excellence information as deployed on ICC’s platform such as a SharePoint Site.

      9.Provide training and assistance for instructional design, instructional technology, and instructional innovation.

      10. Contribute to staffing faculty common area, including resource rooms and meeting rooms.

      12. Perform related duties as required.

      The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

      1. Master’s Degree in Education or related field.

      2. E xperience working in education, development or other directly related field.

      3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and authoring tools.

      4. Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

      5. Strong attention to detail.

      6. Strong Presentation skills .

      7. Strong verbal and written communication skills .

      8. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.

      10. Strong instructional design skills.

      1. Experience working in Higher Education.

      2. Experience working in adult learning.

      3. Experience in Project Management.

      4. Knowledge of current practices in training and development.

      5. Knowledge of Canvas platform and external tools (i.e., Honorlock , Turnitin) .
