      The Opportunity

      As a part time Faculty Onboarding Training and Development Facilitator, you will work closely with the Program Manager of Faculty Training and Development in the creation and delivery of all new faculty training and assessment training for our Global Campus online instructors. You will research and collaborate with Global Campus academic teams to ensure new faculty training and assessment courses prepare instructors to work within our online SNHU classroom, improving student success. You will be asked to be dynamic and flexible, and adjust to varying needs. The Faculty Onboarding Training and Development Facilitator reports to the Senior Director of Faculty Training and Development.

      In this role You'll Get To:

      • Assist with researching and developing training modules for our new faculty training and assessment courses, using our student-focused model, working directly with the academic team, and implementing instructional design methodology.
      • Remain current on evolving educational landscape of online pedagogy and andragogy.
      • Use video editing, graphic design, survey software, and additional technical and multimedia tools to build inside and outside of Learning Management Systems.
      • Design, implement, and improve processes for scheduling training sections and facilitators.
      • Help with performance management of at-risk faculty candidates.
      • Support with the process of review and revision of new faculty training, including building new curriculum.
      • Ensure that specialized projects and the daily workflow are organized, prioritized, and completed within prescribed timeframes.
      • Facilitate new faculty training and assessment courses when needed.

      What we're Looking For:

      • Bachelor's degree.
      • 1+ years of experience in higher education and prior work with faculty.
      • Apply instructional design theories and principles to online learning.
      • Comfort with learning new technical skills.
