      POSITION OVERVIEW

      The Director of Cultural Programming is responsible for the curation and overall success of the cultural events for members of Faena Rose. The role’s mission is to create experiences that transcend the conventional, offering our members access to the otherwise inaccessible. Fulfilling the Faena Rose promise to provide once-in-a-lifetime-experiences to our members.


      The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational abilities, administrative experience, excellent copywriting skill, and an aesthetic eye for graphic design and event production. They are well-rounded connoisseurs of the arts, humanities, and culture at large, with familiarity in hospitality and/or events.

      CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

      1. Creative Ideation & Curation
        Design and implement a rich variety of over 80 cultural experiences annually that captivate our members’ diverse interests. This will include:
        • Exclusive pre-release film screenings with engaging dialogues.
        • Dance performances, celebrating the best of global and contemporary dance forms.
        • Eclectic musical showcases spanning varied genres, from classical symphonies to contemporary beats.
        • Bespoke epicurean events hosted by renowned chefs, esteemed vintners, and celebrated spirit makers.
        • Thought-provoking cultural conversations on zeitgeist topics including art, design, fashion, beauty, business, technology, and health & wellness.
      2. Talent Acquisition
        Exercise negotiation and recruitment to secure renowned and emerging talent, ensuring each cultural event is graced with the creators and thought leaders of our time.
      3. Event Production
        Collaborate closely with the Cultural Programming & Member Relations Departments to bring the vision of each event to life, ensuring flawless execution that leaves a lasting impression on our members.
      4. Strategic Alignment
        Partner with the President of Faena Rose to tailor events that resonate deeply with the interests and aspirations of our member community, ensuring their connection to Faena Rose core values.
      5. Budget Management
        Oversee the cultural programming budget with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources to maximize the impact of each event.
      6. Leadership & Management

      Lead, mentor, and manage the Production Associate and Marketing Associate, fostering a team environment that is conducive to creative thinking and exceptional delivery of experiences.


      Position in the Organizational Structure

      You will report directly to the Director of Operations, who will work to ensure collaboration between departments and offer technical and operational support.
