We are seeking a Family and Health Coordinator to join our team in Bowling Green, FL .
Essential Functions
The Family and Health Coordinator manages caseloads of families and children, conduct assessments/home visits, ensure center health/safety requirements are maintained, and be responsible for ensuring that children and families have a source of continuous and accessible healthcare (including dental and disability services.)
Salary Range: $21.00-$26.00 based off experience
Qualifications
Accepted: Associate in Health Science, Health Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field. Minimum of two years of related experience working with families and their children providing coordination of health and family services. Bilingual (Spanish/English or when applicable, Creole/English) required.
Preferred: Bachelor’ in Health Science, Social Work, Human Services or a related field. Minimum of two years of related experience working with families and their children providing coordination of health and family services.
Bilingual (Creole/English) required.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability: Basic medical terminology knowledge. Good communication, problem-solving; time management and organizational skills. Proficient computer skills. Able to analyze, organize, file, and distribute health information. Work independently and meet multiple deadlines. Knowledge of migrant farmworker communities, culture, and lifestyle.
