      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide support, education, and advocacy to families, caregivers, and allies navigating behavioral health systems
      - Educate families about available resources and rights in various systems
      - Facilitate workshops and engage in community outreach
      - Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
      - Stay informed of emerging issues in family peer support and program focus area

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Personal, lived experience as a family member, primary caregiver, or ally of an individual with a behavioral health challenge
      - Specific lived experience in the program focus area hired to fulfill
      - High school diploma or equivalent
      - Familiarity with state and local resources
      - Strong written and oral communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior experience assisting families to obtain appropriate services and supports
      - Comfort with public speaking and conducting community outreach
      - Ability to efficiently utilize internet search to identify resources
      - Familiarity with using a database like Salesforce
      - Current Maryland driver's license and access to own vehicle
